Day 50: the day when you said "you're really becoming an overly attached gf" in all seriousness T.T

To start things off, i first developed this crazy idea of keeping a blog about us a few days back, when i wanted to make some effort to document our time together in an unconventional manner. i didnt like the idea of a photo album because i've seen at least a dozen other girls done that before; i also didnt like a major project like scrapbooking cuz i suck at art and am terrible at fixing things up; letter-writing was also not an option becuz it sounds so effortless and cheapo. not to mention that i only tend to write better when trying to create distance between me and the other party (a.k.a separation). i wish i had more vocab to describe the general state of "happiness", and "thankfulness" without sounding like a repetitive cheesy old recorder.

so since the world's becoming so technologically advanced in everything it does now, i thought that my idea had to keep up with it too. besides, blogging is quite environmental-friendly (saves paper, but not the electricity) and fun! take a look at this: BLOGGING is FUN ! ok i lied. blogging's fun because i get to insert pictures whenever and wherever. like this:

(this is me in Seoul, Dec 2010. Before i met you, i often wondered why God kept me away from the one He is going to bring into my life at His perfect timing. I thought, why cant the "perfect timing" be "now"?!)

even though i had the idea to blog about our relationship, i dont exactly have an idea what to blog about...

there're many moments i want to capture and remember for life, but it's 430am now and my brain's in a half shut-down mode so....anyways! i know i'll sound like a hopeless and silly romantic for saying this, but i know with a faithful conviction that God's "perfect timing" has come and that i will spend the rest of my life with you, in both good times and bad times. i also know there will be up and down times, but i believe that God will grant us the strength, patience and wisdom to work our way through all those down times, and the grace and a thankful heart to remember Him for all the "up" times we are going to share. Knowing that this relationship is a blessing from God to the both of us is so important because the difference between us and my previous (failed) relationships is that i'm beginning to rely more on God. and the reason i do that is because "with Man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26)

I promise the next time i blog i'll write more about the details of our moments together, but since this is my first post i wanted it to be more inspirational and general :-) nevertheless, here are some photos i took of the day!

Geeks on their way to the library -- me to finish studying the new History syllabus; you to finish on your aviation history essay!

Evidence of real work going on! we werent just on a date haha

Dinner was at Saizeriya, Liang Court! we were starving by then so we ordered at least 10 items (i think). i remember you went for at least 5 rounds of root beer cuz you complained the glass size was too small hahaha

----***----

ok that's all for now, will write again!

"The only other girl that will share my love for you is someone who will call you her mom." (Chia Hsien, Toh, 2012)
