taiwan trip Dec 2013!

It is impossible to sum up the entire taiwan trip in just a post..but there are definitely moments that are memorable and i dont ever want to forget it. Overall, we had a great time eating delicious Taiwan street food and spending quality time together. I had always known that you're a patient, loving and dedicated husband, but i'm even more certain you'll be a really awesome husband to me. Looking at you take such good care of me (helping me to worry about things even before i start worrying, helping me get a fashion makeover, helping me to carry heavy bags, helping me to return to my senses whenever i'm an emo wreck, helping me to fold my clothes, helping me to clean the house...etc) i cant ask for a better husband. Just by looking at you i am constantly reminded of God's grace and kindness toward me...darling, i dont know if i've said this enough, but you're my precious treasure that i love so much, and i'm so fortunate to have you reciprocate my feelings too :-)

i was so excited about our taiwan trip because i couldnt wait to see and feel and eat the taiwan you told me about before! previously, my taiwan experience was a bit bland because my parents and myself werent brought to the exciting and happening parts of taiwan, and we certainly werent given a chance to savor the delicious street foods that EVERYONE talked about. :-( and of course traveling with you makes everything so much sweeter!

when we first got to Taoyuan International Airport, you took me to look for your favorite 麻辣鱼蛋. Unfortunately you couldnt find it and so we settled for the non-spicy version at the nearest 7-11 store:

flashing your "eye balls" (literal translation) at me

tempting me while i stayed unimpressed

your recommended milk tea drink from taiwan, but had to stay away from it cuz of my weak stomach!

Our first 2.5 days were spent in Kaohsiung where we arranged to have our wedding photos taken:

goofing around the indoor photography studio while the photographer (Evan) and his assistant (ah xiang) werent looking haha

loving my bright red cheongsam and hot red lips!

the red cheongsam is so nice to look at, but ultra uncomfortable to wear...not to mention the crazy patent black heels

our first set of clothes -- white gown! specially requested for a white veil this time cuz i didnt get to wear it for the SG photoshoot

a grand place to go with the grand white gown -- 贝拉莫里

i love the details on my veil! made me feel so princessy heh heh

went crazy snapping photos of myself cuz i hardly look this gorgeous HAHAHA

my lovely makeup artist created a really sweet and elegant look for my outfit -- a simple white flower clipped to the bottom left side of my wig

so much hard work behind a photography session! my makeup artist spent more than 2 hours transforming me into a beautiful bride..while the husband took only 30mins

part of the reason i liked my look so much was because she made me so much fairer!!! :-D

i've always believed that a skilled and professional makeup artist is one who does eye makeup really well. and i think i'm right!

and during our stay at Kaohsiung, we discovered the most tasty curry chicken/pork cutlet rice EVER!!! how nice is it that the shop is right at our hotel's doorstep. here're some evidence of its existence:

BEST CURRY CHICKEN CUTLET RICE EVER!!

remember the shop name!! you're going to need it in Kaohsiung!! "目川咖哩" or you can recognise the young and handsome-looking boss about 1.8m tall teehee

jx's favorite chicken cutlet rice in oyako style, a.k.a 鸡排盖饭

we liked this place so much we came here every single day in Kaohsiung!!! hahahaha

this is me wearing false eyelashes for the first time (all on my own) in taiwan!! memorable hahaha

lovely flowers from a granny selling at the roadside

really friendly and helpful service from Kindness hotel. they really live up to their name..the room is just right for the two of us; not too big (wont complain even if it is hahaha) nor too cramped

i like their shower facilities! there are 4 options to choose from : 1. 6 sprinklets shooting out at you, 2. shower head from above, 3. mobile shower head, and 4. tap

our hotel stay comes with free breakfast buffet! not the most delicious, but i like that it is free flow! cheapo ftw!

simple, bright ambience

this is you waiting for me while i get my makeup and hair done at the bridal studio for our photoshoot! so HAM!

our daily supper at Kaohsiung. we were in food heaven!!!

the tiny little dog that couldnt be bothered with my photo-taking. how cute!

there're so much more photos that i couldnt upload because they're still stuck in han ning's digital camera..just need a card reader to transfer the photos!!

I am so happy i will blog again with the other photos!!!

I love you ah fat!
